From MSG Polo Eventing to Amino Performance.

Amino Performance was founded by Monte Grainger, creator of the MSG Polo Eventing YouTube channel, after years spent riding, competing and caring for performance horses across polo, eventing, trail hunting and everyday training.

IT STARTED WITH ONE HORSE

Tonic changed the way I thought about performance horses.

Tonic arrived in August 2021 and quickly became the horse at the centre of the MSG Polo Eventing YouTube channel. Through polo, eventing, hunting, trail hunting and everyday training, thousands of people followed our journey together.

Over time, that journey became about more than competition. It changed how I thought about equine nutrition, joint health, gut health, gastric support, hydration, recovery and the long-term demands placed on hardworking horses.

Tonic and MSG Polo Eventing were where the story really began.

Riding Tonic through polo, eventing, trail hunting and day-to-day training gave me a front-row view of the physical demands placed on performance horses. The MSG Polo Eventing YouTube channel documented that journey and created the audience that would later follow the development of Amino Performance.

I stopped thinking about supplements as something you simply add.

I had never wanted to supplement a horse just for the sake of it. But years of riding and caring for hardworking horses made me look more closely at joint health, recovery, digestion and the cumulative effect of training, travelling and competition.

The question became performance today — and longevity tomorrow.

Equine nutrition started to make more sense when I stopped asking only what might help a horse today and started asking what could support joint health, gut health, gastric comfort, hydration, recovery and long-term performance over the seasons ahead.

That thinking became Amino Performance.
